WMS Application Support Analyst x3 mf
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Working closely with the business users to resolve their daily application issuesthe WMS Application Support Analystis the technical expert for all related topics concerning system troubleshooting database analysis & interface control in a warehouse environment with state of the art WMS and MHE technology
TheWMS Application Support Analystwill troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software environment configuration and setup errors and will create workaround procedures and ensures timely resolution of issues
As a member of the technical IT staff theWMS Application Support Analystwill be the technical expert maintaining the WMS software product from Manhattan Associates
Key Responsibilities
* Support the warehouse supervisors with additional information from the database
* Participating in defining future processes and translating into functional requirements
* Categorize issues and escalate where necessary to the appropriate next level
* Provide solutions for equipment failures like RF scanners printers
* Prepare system and performance tests
* Monitor installation of software delivery notes and test bug fixes
* Support on interface testing and troubleshooting between SAP - WMS and MHE systems

* TheWMS Application Support Analystactively shares information and teaches others and coaches team members to achieve higher performance
Key Relationships
* IT Manager and IT Business Consultant
* All team leads and key users from the CDC operational team
* Technical experts managing other systems eg MHE in the warehouse
* adidas internal 2level application support
* Software vendor’s customer support
* Other internal adidas competence centers
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* Expert knowledge of PLSQL
* Knowledge of relational database systems Oracle preferred
* Able to extract database information and solve business requirements and system issues
* Wide range of technology knowledge in complex distribution centers including WMS WCS MHE and Business Intelligence
* Manhattan WMOS Labor Management and Supply Chain Intelligence or any other reporting in Cognos environment experiences are a plus
* Experiences in WebSphere Application Server RF technology Customs Service applications automation systems and in Retail Industry are a plus
* Must be self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Strong analytical critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Ability to work individually or in a team environment
Requisite Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences Industrial Engineering supply chainlogistics or related field
* At least 3 years’ experience in an IT support role
* Fluency in English and German another European language is a plus
