Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation

The IT Digital team aims to design deliver and operate technology platform for our brands
In your role as Global IT Project Manager Technology you will be responsible for the managing Projects to enhance improve and change the Digital Marketing platform for adidas and Reebok
You bring strong technical and architectural skills combined with solid project management skills in order to bring leadership in the design and the delivery of the needed projects
An excellent knowledge of the Digital ecosystem is required
Key Responsibilities
* The spectrum of tasks covers multiple IT disciplines including Technical Leadership of Projects Technical Architecture business process engineering application package evaluation project management application design and specification and IT business consulting
* Perform business requirement analysis and provide design and solution recommendation
* Manage the delivery of projects in scope quality and budget
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Infrastructure and Security
* Coordinate with service providers and third parties
* Manageresolve escalations
* Explore new web technologies and help to define the future roadmap towards ideal system architecture for the Digital Marketing platform
* Guide external agencies on architectural decisions and assist in integrating into the overall digital marketing platform
* Work closely with external agencies business and business analysts on understanding and formulating the business requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Gain and maintain functional competence related to the service adidas group and industry ways of working
* Develop and maintain independence and self-organisation within the daily work environment
* Maintain business team and vendor relationships to ensure a high standard in customer service and satisfaction
* Meet quality and time targets or service levels to ensure the predictability of results
* Ensure compliance with all relevant adidas Group computing standards policies and methodologies as well as securitydata protection regulations
* Manage reporting and escalations
* Lead the project team internal and 3rd parties
* Act as the key trouble-shooter in technical difficultcomplexescalated incidents
Required Skills
* A passion to stay abreast of latest digital marketing technology and web related IT topics
* Experience with full software development life-cycle including functional and technical specification documentation QA process source code control and continuous integration maintenance and deployment
* Strong understanding of the service offerings in the digital marketing space facebook myspace twitter bazaarvoice and similar providers
* Strong understanding of Content Management Systems and Processes ideally in Tridion
* Strong understanding of Content Delivery to multiple devices websites mobile 3rd parties affiliates as well as Content Delivery Networks
* Good database experience eg Oracle SQLServerMySQL
* Development skills in PHP NET C and web services with an understanding of middleware hardware and web-integration principles
* Additional language skills HTML Java CSS Javascript AJAX a plus
* Communication and presentation skills
* Strong analytical and social skills and with the ability to view issues from a business perspective
* Ability to work in a team environment both local and remote cultural diversity skills
Requisite Education
* BS or MS in Computer Science or comparable qualification
* 5 - 10 years of working in Digital Marketing Domain
* Very good in English both written and spoken
