Position Summary
The TaylorMade Performance Labs are most exclusive TaylorMade adidas Golf brand experience available to the general public Each location is operated by a team of expert TaylorMade certified Master fitters and technicians
As a TaylorMade Certified Master Club Fitting Technician at the TaylorMade Performance Labs you will be fitting consumers and corporate customers on a day-to-day basis and helping with regular office duties that include greeting customers answering phones and following up on custom orders
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Manager at the TMPL facility with fittings day to office duties that include answering the phone greeting customers following up on custom orders scheduling appointments through ZDT and any other duties needed from the Manager
Custom fitting golfers using TaylorMade MAT-T system and GC2 and Flightscope systems
Maintaining a high level of TaylorMade & adidas product knowledge
Proficient in all TaylorMade custom fitting techniques and maintain an “expert status” level at all times
Responsible for maintaining the performance and operation of the MAT-T system and GC2 and Flightscope systems in the designated lab area
Leverage equipment sales on all custom fitting appointments to agreed targets set by facility management
Independently work to create new sales and revenue streams for the TaylorMade Performance Lab
Work with local TaylorMade staff professionals to fit their membership through TMPL Fitting Hub program
Ensure the fitting lab is maintained to a high standard and are kept up-to-date at all times
Attend TMaG sales meetings and custom fitting events when required
Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Education Training Professional Certification and Work Experience
Minimum of 4 years custom fitting experience
Golf playing experience and golf industry background highly desired
PGA qualified highly desired
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Must have a significant understanding of swing mechanics club fitting and product knowledge with particular emphasis on the workings of the TaylorMade MAT-T GC2 and Flightscope custom fitting systems
Excellent interpersonal skills in a customer facing environment
Good commercial and sales acumen
Ability to comprehend and communicate technical product specifications
Good understanding of golf technologies
Willingness to work weekends
Good level of computer skills word excel PowerPoint online applications etc
Ability to stick to targets and deadlines
Energetic highly motivated individual with a shared passion for TaylorMade adidas Golf core values
