As aSpecialist Project Planningyou are responsible for supporting the Manager Project Planning – Sports Marketing Service Unit SMSU in developing and implementing an effective and reliable supply chain solution that meets the specific product delivery needs of Football markets and is broadly aligned with Group capabilities and procedures
JOB PROFILE
* Co-ordinate SMSU apparel supply chain projects in conjunction with Global Supply Network with an emphasis on the evaluation creation and implementation of profitable end-to-end supply chain solutions based on integrated business processes
* Maintain a current and in depth understanding of the business needs and objectives of SMSU and its customers
* Identify opportunities to develop the supply chain to meet business needs make proposals to management
* Understand current & future supply chain constraints and opportunities through a deep understanding of sales strategies product processes and sourcing capabilities
* Ensure accurate demand planning and order processing
Supply Chain Projects
* Monitor SMSU supply initiatives and projects in order to meet businessmarket needs that cannot be satisfied through existing processes eg Event responsive & team wear programs
* Coordinate with stakeholders and related efforts across the supply chain ensuring functionally independent efforts are synergistic and that the project plan and expected benefits are realized
* Work on other supply chain projects as directed by the Manager Project Planning SMSU
Supply Chain Planning
* Develop and implement an effective supply chain plan in conjunction with Sourcing Project Management Costing Marketing and Global Supply Planning to ensure the timely delivery of customers’ orders
* Ensure potential delays are identified as early as possible and the effects minimized by proactive action
* Monitor the logistics progress of key stylesranges defined by marketing within the SMSU supply chain Manage the process logistics CPR that track these styles promote awareness of these styles within Sourcing with the goal of meeting the business market needs
* Review Late Adds after Project Management to ensure the allocation of Late Adds does not create capacity problems and that marketing has a realistic expectation of the delivery
* Outline timing and follow up style lifecycle Buy Ready and drop lists with Project Management Sourcing Marketing and Supply Chain Support teams for SMSU
YOUR PROFILE
* Fluent English language skills written and oral
* Good ITEDP skills including Excel Access and Word Comfortable with learning internal systems such as RMS IB ILS and SIM
* Analytical Skills
* College or university degree with a focus on Logistics or Apparel preferred alternatively equivalent training and one to two years related work experience in the field of Logistics andor Apparel
* At least 2 years work experience in the Apparel industry with a focus on production materials etc
