Senior Technical ArchitectSAP Development mf
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
The focus of this position is to provide technical governance of the SAP Landscape through SAP development – partnering internal functional teams and external service providers
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor design and specification of SAP developments within multiple SAP environments by outsourced partner’s offshore team
* Actively manage multi-vendor strategy within ABAP’s solution portfolio
* Planning of and assign resource requirements for various projects in collaboration with regional functional team leads and project managers
* Ensure all development conforms to the department’s QA policies methodologies standards and guidelines
* Bridge the gap between business process and technical design
* SAP technical consultant to internal stakeholders
* Actively identify and introduce state-of-the-art solutions and innovations
Authorities
Next to the active demand and resource management for the ABAP delivery this position is authorized to work independently with the vendors to provide best practices continuously improving standards with using new technology and project management skills and to maintain the multiple vendor strategy

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* In-depth knowledge of SAP with strong experience in ABAP development and Web Dynpro for Java & ABAP development
* Leadership skills coupled with ability to create buy-in
* Experience in a complex landscape with a mixture of SAP and non-SAP installations
* Experience interfacing with various EAI middleware tools
* Strong application development or systems analysis background
* Ability to work in an international and virtual certain extend team environment
* Fluent in English both spoken and written
* German or another language would be beneficial but not essential
Requisite Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or a related field
* Experience handling largecomplex implementations is required Ability to concurrently handle multiple tasks
* 5 years of hands-on ABAP development experience
* A good understanding of business processes with the SD MM & FI modules is required experience with the Apparel Footwear Industry Solution AFS a plus
