We are currently looking for aSenior Project Manager to provide project management leadership for the adidas Group real estate portfolio globally The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the design and construction of Corporate Real Estate projects utilizing outside design and project management firms
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage real estate design and construction projects globally with an estimated budget of 100M
* Develop a standard procurement process and scope of work for architectural and engineering services design service and project management services
* Identify and pre-qualify design and project management service providers on a project by project basis
* Manage proposal and selection process for design and project management services Negotiate appropriate contracts
* Direct the activities of and monitor performance of designers and project managers
* Coordinate activities with and communicate effectively with appropriate stakeholders and Regional Corporate Real Estate managers
* Develop construction budgets and schedules for projects Manage same
* Assist Regional Corporate Real Estate Managers and local business units with the development of financial analyses and Capital Appropriation Requests
* Working with local business units and Regional Corporate Real Estate Managers develop the annual Capital Budget
* As part of the Global Real Estate team contribute to the development of real estate and facilities standards and processes
* Cooperate with the local business unit facility managers in developing best practices Where no facility manager exists provide appropriate leadership
EDUCATIONEXPERIENCE
* Education BS Degree in Architecture Engineering or Project Management
* Experience 15 years in the direct management of construction programs including budget control estimating design construction coordination and project scheduling Professional registration or other advanced training is preferred
* Special skills An excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing is essential Must have significant experience with budgeting strategic planning project management and project financial analysis
* Experience in managing large scale projects with a budget of >10M
* Must be comfortable in a matrixed organization with a variety of stakeholders Must be self-motivated and take the initiative to achieve business goals
* Significant travel 35-50 will be required
* Development of a professional project management discipline within Group Corporate Real Estate
* Effective management of design and construction of the real estate projects globally
* Development and performance of the Capital Budget
* Delivery of individual projects within the budgeted capital cost and agreed timeframe
* Timely and appropriately detailed reporting to key stakeholders and Senior Management
