Reebok International is seeking two Designers for our Concept and Innovation team
This is a new small dynamic cross-functional team that is tasked to help Reebok in its mission to “Challenge and Lead though Creativity” The team is a problem-solving hub that works to identify innovation opportunities within the business and facilitate bringing these ideas to life We think about strategy as much as product innovative products are great innovative thinking is even better
We are looking for highly creative individuals with varied backgrounds who are naturally curious are not afraid to take risks and are driven to seek a better future The candidate should thrive on working on a wide-ranging scope of projects both longer and shorter term quick strike timeframes Applicants should be self-motivated and team orientated working with the Director of Concept & Innovation and the other team members along with a broader “virtual” team
Responsibilities
* Design new products systems and experiences that challenge the status quo
* Work alongside counterparts in design product marketing development brand marketing and brand strategy
* Produce specific deliverables on time and present them in a meaningful and compelling way
* Advocate for change in the organization supporting the Design Director in all ventures
* Desire to ask the “right” questions in order to identify innovation opportunities and translate them into strategic projects
* Navigate projects where no predetermined process is in place
* Process driven research and consumer focused design approach
* Work with other design and product creation functions in order to achieve strategic alignment with the seasonal product offerings
Requirements
* Experience working on non-conventional project types and an ability to bring these ideas from conception to completion
* 7 years work experience or equivalent in the fields of Industrial Fashion Graphic Interaction Communication Experience or Strategy Design
* Proven track record working on high-profile initiatives and presenting to senior leadership
* Self motivated highly creative curious
* Proven ability to work in a team virtual direct and across disciplines
* Bachelors Degree design
* International experience a plus
