Purpose
* Maintains key information and documentation on supplier capacity and capabilities quota availability and lead times to support effective placement decisions
* Facilitates order placement and problem resolution through coordination of information between Liaison Office HQ Customer Service and suppliers
* Ensures supplier adherence to adidas-Sourcing initiatives such as Special Handling at Source SHAS and other labelling & packaging requirements
* Provides review and support to factories on timely and accurate export and shipping documentation
Key Responsibilities
* Ensures timely and accurate data regarding factory capacity capabilities lead times firstlast ex-factory dates where RMS2 is not available or other data as required by Global Logistics or LO management for planning and allocation purposes
* Acts as primary liaison between Customer Service and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate information flow May include actual inputting of data as necessary
* Passes the LCO 190 and forecasts to factories andor adidas Sourcing production managers on a timely basis and ensures timely feedback
* Responsible for order confirmation and acts as liaison between suppliers and HQ Customer Service to address PO issues or rejects
* Uses understanding of costing capacity and garment production to assist in the resolution of order problems
* Accurately tracks Work in Progress so key work process milestones such as order confirmation and shipment documentation are achieved according to schedule
* Executes the necessary processes procedures and training to achieve accurate export documentation including checking of documents if required
* Works with management and suppliers to implement supply chain initiatives as introduced by GSN CI Logistics Sourcing or others
* Prepares necessary reports and information analysis as required by Global Logistics LO management or others
* Responsible for carrying out the above duties over multiple factories within or outside home country
Key Relationships
* Collaborative relationship with Merchandiser and Technical Service teams
* Ongoing communication and coordination with internal customers and business partners
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* Good IT skills including Excel Access and Word Comfortable with learning internal Planning and Product Data Management Systems
* Fluent in English written and oral
Requisite Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
* College or university degree with a focus on Logistics preferred alternatively equivalent training and one to two years related work experience
