We currently have a vacancy for a Sales Planning Manager within our Sales Planning Department In this position you will hold ultimate responsibility for the following dutiestasks
* Manage the process and conduct the target setting of regular sales across own area of responsibility
* Discuss proposed targets with Sales management and Marketing to resolve any anomaliesdisagreements in a professional manner ensuring full buy-in from all parties
* Ensure targets are available on Business Objects and are reported in the company Key Performance Indicators
* Evaluate design and develop key strategies and initiatives within the sales planning process and understand the impact to all other areas of the business
* Lead own team with the Commercial Team to define relevant reporting requirements in order to meet the needs of key users for Market North
* Responsible for the timely production and distribution of key reports produced and issued by Sales Planning
* Maximise the contribution of all members of the Sales Planning team when creating and maintaining the Sales Planning Red Book chapter and ensure the chapter is written in conjunction with other areas of the business
* Evaluate availability issues and the potential impact on net sales customer relationships and internal forecasting
* Manage the sea-airairfreight spend by authorizing requests from Customer Services and Sales
* Track and report sea-airairfreight spend and communicate to business
* Report any process anomalies that may affect budget and work with key personnel to resolve any issues arising both locally and internationally
* Prepare and present sales forecasts at the Commercial Performance Meetings and challenge where appropriate with sound logic and a considered approach Ensure an accountchannelbrand forecast is agreed that can then be used in the Business Update to the management team
* Responsible for all documentation to show the total company projected forecast for the current month and present in the weekly Business Update Meeting providing clear feedback on weekly movements and further actions to take place
* Liaise with Sales Customer Services and Logistics to provide a seasonal forecast that will in turn drive actions for the upcoming period
* Directly linked to the monthly sales forecast provide Logistics with potential workload volumes and be instrumental in the discussions regarding capacity planning and any potential opportunities or constraints from the DC Act as key liaison to the front office
* Ensure the equivalent Benelux process is working in conjunction with the UK process and all documentation is correct and on time
* Accountable for the preparation of all sales forecasts prior to the Country Commercial Review Meeting Utilise historic information as well as current trends to challenge sales management on individual forecasts ensuring all are aware of the implications of poor forecasting in terms of Operations planning and Marketing spend Ensure an accountchannelbrand forecast is agreed that can then be presented to the Sales Director before discussion at the CCR
