Mitchell & Ness the leader in nostalgic sports apparelis seeking a Product Manager to support their Headwear division The Product Manager executes the category business vision strategic direction and leads the category team to create consumer focused product concepts This position is the expert in consumer and market understanding for the Mitchell & Ness brand
Responsibilities
* Provide insight and analysis of consumer and market trends competition retail landscape and cultural drivers affecting business dynamics
* Analyze booking information sell thru margin style and SKU productivity as well as inventory management
* Work in collaboration with design apparel and marketing to develop compelling concepts and stories that are focused at the target consumer
* Manage all merchandising activities product catalogues samples presentations photo shoots sales meeting set-up etc
* Category liaison for all internal and external communications league retail marketing etc
* Manage sample process including ordering maintaining and merchandising of showrooms
* Build league and retail relationships with direct interface with the league offices and member teams
* Account visits to key headwear retail accounts
* Manage special make up requests and collaborations
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree
* 5 years of relevant experience
* Previous experience with consumer brands in product management development sales or merchandising
* Ability to partner with collaborate with and influence internal and external business partners
* Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at once
* Strong presentation and merchandising skills
* A passion for sports memorabilia
