Preparation

Before submitting an application for a position, please make sure you have taken the time to understand a bit about our company and have thoroughly read the job description. Once you apply online your application will be reviewed by the HR team. Be sure when you send an application that you are prepared to discuss why you are a strong fit for the role and for adidas Group.

To complete your online profile you should always have an electronic version of your resume/CV and cover letter available. The Career Center will guide you through the application process and ask that you provide contact information, education and language skills, work history, and career interests, and will then require you to upload a resume/CV.

Passion

When providing your resume/CV, cover letters and other important information to us, don't forget to include the reasons why you applied. We want to see that you have applied for much more than just a job. For example, it's important that you get the point across of why you love the adidas brand. If you are a top athlete, a fashion fanatic, or have been a devoted three-striper all your life, there are plenty of opportunities to work your passion into a cover letter. A prerequisite for working at adidas is loving the brand as much as we do.

Performance

Applying for a job is no time to be modest. It is very important that you "show off" all of your accomplishments in a very clear and concise way. If you were the number one sales person in your last job, we want to know. If you saved your organization 20% of prior-year costs, tell us this, too. Make sure your resume gets the point across and make sure that it focuses on precise and measurable accomplishments.

Post Application Process

Our Human Resources department works very hard to provide each and every applicant with a quick response. Here's some additional information to help you better understand what happens once you submit an application.

Each job is assigned to an HR manager or a recruiter that is responsible for managing a specific type of role for their functional department. The HR manager or recruiter will review your application and provide you with an update via email within two weeks of submittal.

If we don't feel that your experience is a match for the open position we may review your application against other job openings. If we don't have any relevant roles at that point in time, we will keep your information on file and consider you for other positions that come up in the future. If at any point you would like to remove your profile from our database, you can request this through the online tool by visiting the account profile you created when you initially registered with us.

If the HR manager or recruiter feels that your profile is a match, your information will be shared with the respective hiring manager. This process usually takes up to one additional week depending on the manager's availability. The next step would involve contacting you to schedule a phone interview so we could find out more about you-and you can find out more about the position and adidas Group.

At the conclusion of the phone interview we will determine whether to move forward with a face-to-face interview. An interview will typically be coordinated through the HR manager or recruiter and will include directions, scheduled times, personnel you will be meeting and travel requirements.
