“Go-to-Market” GTM strategy brings together all commercial functions sales marketing brand management pricing and consumer insight The newly defined adidas Group Go-to-Market team is the key interface between Global strategic teams and the markets In cooperation with global product brand and sports marketing they strive for balance between desirable brands & commercial success GTM brings the departments together and ensures that they form a strong concept considering commercial realities and brand priorities
The Role
The Merchandiser GTM will build a global range for various categories Originals Training Football Running etc which has commercial and brand relevance in all markets based on a world class cross-channel merchandising practice globally Furthermore you will continuously review sell-through and share feedback with the Business Unit Creation thus helping to improve the product creation going forward These are 4 new roles which report to the Global Head of Merchandising GTM
Your responsibilities
* Manage the key strategic category merchandising priorities in line with the brand strategy
* Support shaping the global ranging strategy and ensure implementation
* Provide a framework for key merchandising analysis techniques proactive and reactive and drive the implementation of category merchandising components
* Collate competitor feedback from markets and report to the Head of Merchandising
* Support head merchant in conducting competitive and price analysis and price point matrix analysis
* Contribute to the design and implementation of a set of key merchandising reports that help evaluate the category business goals and ensure roll-out
* Conduct range review of respective category to confirm products are purchased in stores
* Analysis of sell-through performance to the global BU’s and contribute to strategic planning based on that analysis
* Support in the trend analysis and ensure feedback is collected and sent to business units consistently
* Work with Global Operations on in-season reactivity
* Make recommendations to the Head of Merchandising and GTM vertical teams regarding best sellers
YourProfile
* Strong experience with international merchandisingbuying within a successful retail organization
* Knowledge of the wholesale retail and eCommerce channels
* Strong analytical skills
* Structured organized and process orientated
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
* Fluent in English an additional language is an advantage
