As aManager Material Planning Apparelyou will manage and drive the process policy analysis and execution of global material supply planning for all pre-production activities across multiple brands Consolidates coordinates and analyzes global material requirements of the Apparel Business sourced through adidas Sourcing Limited’s international suppliers
JOB PROFILE
* Interact with senior business partners from Development Sourcing Global Supply Planning Global Sample Team Center of Excellence and Marketing Operations to define processes timelines and policies in the material area
* Manage global material fabrics and trims requirements for samples Protos presell and SMS per PLM download according to established sample calendars and for bulk production pre-activities marketing forecast report fabric minimum report
* Proactively identify potential areas of improvement in the material area and work with x-functional partners in multiple locations to propose and implement solutions
* Drive seasonal pull forward process from materials perspective
* Provide expertise in material related Global Operations projects
* Define request and test system enhancements for internal systems

YOUR PROFILE
* 4-year college or university degree with a focus on Logistics or Apparel
* Minimum 3 years work experience in the Apparel industry or equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Logistics andor Apparel
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple completing projects under a deadline
* Ability to proactively communicate on an on-going basis with cross functional teams to ensure a smooth product development process
* Ability to work on a team or independently with the ability to motivate and mentor others as necessary
* Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
* Ability to communicate and to lead discussions in small and larger groups
* Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a productive manner
* Strong analytical skills
* Fluent in English written and verbal
* Ability to travel domestic or international as required
* Advanced computer skills including MS Office and the ability to quickly learn and use internal systemssoftware
