PurposeMission
Manage the accounting functions and ensure the accounting records are in compliance with approved accounting standards and statutory requirements Ensure month end accounts close on timely manner to provide financial and management reports in the tight deadlines Manage the accounting team to achieve operational and financial excellence
Primary
* Supervise the accounting team to ensure smooth operation of the accounting function
* Continuously development implementation enforcement accounting process work flow by improving the controls
* Effectively manage the accounting and finance function through routine operations recording of all accounting transactions reconciliation of accounts producing financial reports tax filings and settlement
* Coach and develop accounting staff to achieve efficiency and higher productivity within Accounting department
* Manage day to day treasury functions and developing implementation and enforcement for the business procedures and processes
Secondary
* Ensure the accounting entries posted correctly and in compliance of Local and International Accounting Standards Statutory Requirements as well as Group Finance Policy
* Ensure Provision & Accrual and Prepayment are properly recorded
* Keep AR under control as per agreed norms and minimize bad debts by adhering to the company’s credit and collection policies
* Keep AP under control to internal and external parties
* Review for the journal entries in General Ledger Inventory Account Payable and Receivable
* Record and reconcile the account and adjust all errors and complaints as necessary
* Provide coaching and mentoring to the subordinates
* Responsible to maintain a systematic file system for safekeeping the datafinancial informationinvoice to be kept at least for a number of years as per required by local law
* Other ad hoc assignment may be required from time to time
