Purpose
The Mobile Development Lead supports the successful execution of the business mission through providing technology planning assessment and architectural leadership across the organization for the development acquisition and upgrade of mobile applications and their connected content services
Job profile
* Evaluate assess and provide leadership for mobile application development deployment and life cycle maintenance process on mobile platforms
* Provide vision and technical leadership in the area of social game and community mechanics toward the deep integration of adidas products with external services that will comprise the next generation of inter-connected mobile user experiences
* In partnership with business units identify technical feasibility and risks for delivering interactive applications and services including analysis of competitive offerings opportunities for innovation and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success
* Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms and external development for delivering the company’s services
* Support strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and negotiating timetables for the evaluation development management of third party development resources and deployment of interactive applications and services
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile platforms technology standards industry trends emerging technologies and best practices by representation as a technical representative to platform partner developer programs
* Promote achievement of the company’s business goals within a context of internal collaboration by designing scalable system architectures developing policies for managing project source code innovative approaches technology transfer business processes and building an intellectual property portfolio
Your profile
* University degree in the field of computer science business administration or another rigorous discipline An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus
* Demonstrated experience and leadership in a similar previous role 3-5 years
* In-depth knowledge and experience in web service design and deployment 5 years
* In-depth knowledge and experience in multi-platform smart phone andor embedded device product development and successful application deployment 5 years
* In-depth knowledge of social networking tools platforms and mechanics including facebook twitter check-in applications achievementsbadging and community practices
* Experience managing third party software development delivery and operational engagements including off shore
* Advanced MS-Office skills Intermediate MS-Project skills
* Fluent in English Another European language is beneficial
