Your Tasks
* Support different projects conducted in Retail Business development eg in data analysis data entry process analysis project documentation etc
* Support data collection for regular tracking of projects and priorities requires interaction with all retail departments to obtain their project tracker presentation
* Support Retail Market Intelligence by researching information analysing results and communicating results through a monthly newsletter and powerpoint presentations requires researching general retail industry news as well as specific retail companies and translating the research into a format suitable for communication
* Support ad hoc requests as needed eg management information consolidation presentation preparation such work is typical in a Business Development function
Key Objectives
* Learn about the adidas Group retail organization and its strategy The Business Development function provides an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally across all retail departments rather than specialize in one specific area and learn how the retail organization fits together - at a HQ level but also throughout the world Furthermore Business Development is at the lead of most strategic initiatives
* Learn about the role of a Business Development function in an organization It is not a role which is typically well understood but is probably one of the best departments to work for in order to learn about an organization
* Expand general retail knowledge through the Market intelligence work not only reviewing adidas Groups retail business but also looking into what key competitors and other brands are doing
* Work with all adidas Group CoE Retail departments and learn about projects and tasks carried out in these departments the system landscape and typical tools and processes
* Refine organisation and presentation skills and build multi-tasking skills through work on several projects and ad-hoc tasks
Your Profile
* Enrolled as fulltime student for the complete duration of the internship
* Or in the so called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree EU citizens only
* Student of Business studies or similar major
* Good English skills written and spoken
* Knowledge in all MS Office applications especially Powerpoint and Excel
* Business acumen openness to learn
* Interest to work in a multinational environment
* Good communicationpresentation skills
* Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills
* Interest in sports
Duration 6 months starting March 12th 2012
