Purpose
Enterprise Application Integration is an integration framework composed of a collection of technologies and services which form a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprise
Supply chain management applications for managing inventory and shipping customer relationship management applications for managing current and potential customers business intelligence applications for finding patterns from existing data from operations and other types of applications for managing data such as human resources data internal communications etc typically cannot communicate with one another in order to share data or business rules
Enterprise application integration EAI is the process of linking applications within a single organization together in order to simplify and automate business processes to the greatest extent possible while at the same time avoiding having to make sweeping changes to the existing applications or data structures
Assignments fall under a broad spectrum of tasks related to the entire application life cycle from requirement definition through to a stable operations phase Heshe also can be assigned a significant responsibility within a program or large-scale project with direct or indirect responsibilities for people and budgets The overall purpose of these assignments is to carry out tasks with a high degree of competence and professionalism so that integration needs within the international context of the adidas-Group AG can be met
The Integration Project & Demand Manager is responsible providing efficient integration project & demand management services and support to the entire landscape being central contact person for RFC’s small and midsize projects Managing all aspects of the project including business requirements analysis technology design program development risk identification and planning testing strategies documentation deployment for new system development and production support In hisher role heshe guide and advice hisher customers along a standardized software life cycle process for the project implementation phase and ensure qualified handover of the demands into operation according pre defined quality gate requirements Analysis of business requirements to develop clear accurate project plans and rigorously drive the development and implementation process to success Further on heshe will be responsible for the regular release management for the entire Integration landscape Function as a Project & Demand Manager and work with the different stake holders GIT CC Markets Suppliers… to assess and re-engineer the requirements and document them Work with the developmenttesting teams to coordinatefacilitate activities
Key Responsibilities
The spectrum of tasks can vary or be combined of different subject areas including but not limited to technology engineering application package evaluation analysis and deployment support application technology design and specification application support and IT business consulting
Project Management
* Responsible for the end to end project delivery for integration projects
* Being able to do project planning tracking reporting change management and risk assessment and control by applying the correct PM methodologies and tooling
* Heshe ensures that the project is delivered within the boundaries of time cost & quality according to the customer’s expectations and requirements To ensure this problems and issues that occur during the project need to be identified and solved
* Ensuring development deliverables are acceptable
* Performing internal acceptance testing
* Coordinating and support user acceptance testing
* Transferring process knowledge to production support teams
* Managing customer’s expectations throughout entire project lifecycle
* Responsible for architecting or building solutions in a given Tech area
* Being responsible and managing the financial project costs for the Integration environment Providing cost transparency to the adidas internal business customers and ensuring cost efficiency along all service layers required to realize and implement customer requirements
* Ability to bridge the business with the appropriate integration solution and provide expertise in functional and technical specification and design
* Guide and advice adidas customer on the design and definition of Web services SOA process
* Perform and lead quality assurance during the software lifecycle development process
Demand Management
* Lead and manage the demands from all business partners and prioritization within the framework of the Integration Strategy and Roadmap acting as the single point of contact for those business partners
* Gathering requirements and documenting business requirements
* Documenting Integration system design documents
* Coordinating development activities
