Head of IT CC Distribution EMEA mf
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Direct the regional IT teams in the adidas Group’s Distribution Competency Center The head of IT CC Distribution EMEA leads the Warehouse Management System WMS program and defines the roll-out strategy for the region’s WMS projects Ultimately responsible for the daily support of our key regional warehouses IT distribution support teams and the deployment of all WMS projects in the region
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for partnering with the regional Head of Center of Excellence Logistics to plan budget design develop and deliver our adidas-Group warehousing solutions
* Lead the distribution program and warehouse process governance to establish a more efficient warehouse distribution network for our adidas-Group warehouse locations within the EMEA region
* Manage the distribution solutions for 7 large group warehouses accountable for a yearly revenues of over €33 billion for the adidas-Group
* Heads up the CC Distribution teams in EMEA responsible for operational support and implementation of warehouse management projects
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Motivate people and develop their skills to continuously improve performance
* Lead the support groups for our warehouses in UK Germany Uffenhiem Scheinfeld CDC and The Netherlands with a yearly revenue throughput of €33 billion in their yearly RFC planning SLA fulfillment and alignment with the Global Distribution program
* Manage the regional warehouse budget of €14M in 2012
* Establish and maintain the strategic distribution roadmap for EMEA
* Develop innovative improvements to further increase efficiency within the global distribution network and its associated supply chain processes
* Setup manage and motivate project teams responsible for rolling out the defined strategy of the global distribution program in the EMEA region
Profile
* Strong leader who is able to motivate people within a matrix organization globally builds temporary project teams and continuously drives towards a high performing team environment
* Innovative and motivated person who will think beyond the boundaries of hisher responsibility area
* An experienced strategic supply chain professional with focus on distribution who never looses sight of the end-to-end process
* Mature program owner who not only establishes the strategy but also converts it into a roll-out plan and then lead the project teams towards a successful implementation
* University degree or equivalent working experience in IT or Business Management
Experiences & Skills
* At least 15 years of work experience within international IT environments including 8 years management experience
* Minimum 5 years experience in global program and large scale project implementations Experience in implementing complex supply chain projects is a plus
* Strong Supply Chain Management process experience
* Significant experience in implementing DistributionWarehouse Solutions from Business and IT Perspective
* Broad understanding of end to end business process across functions including Sales Finance Operations and Human Resources preferably adidas Group
* Strong relationship development & management skills Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with senior business partners
* Ability to influence negotiate with and gain cooperation from vendors customers and colleagues without solid reporting line particularly in multi-cultural environment
* Excellent financial management skills
* Fluency in English German language is a plus
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Willing to travel up to 25 of the time
