As theHead of Fashion Sourcingyou will build a world class Fashion source base for Apparel Footwear and Accessories You will drive and ensure an industry leading organization in terms of reliability speed to market quality innovation cost engineering and sustainability
JOB PROFILE
* Drive the development and execution of a fashion sourcing strategy in order to meet the company objectives relating to quality volume style and cost of sourced products
* Communicate the design direction of the fashion group to the suppliers to enable them to create product in short lead times which fits the brand’s needs
Supplier Network Management
* Map the Fashion Group’s needs source materials and identify suppliers capable of delivering
* Lead the production allocation process for fashion in close cooperation with adidas Sourcing Limited aSL
* Plan and manage required supplier capacities and volume placeholders
Production Coordination for agentsnon-adidas Sourcing Limited suppliers
* Ensure on-time ex-factorydelivery through monitoring purchase order fulfillment
* Coordinate supplier performance tracking with regards to delivery quality based on existing frameworks and develop new performance tracking tools where needed
* Manage capacity reservations and material commitments made to suppliers
Cost Management
* Develop and implement appropriate costing frameworks for fashion in close cooperation with Costing Teams and adidas Sourcing Limited
* Serve as escalation level for style cost negotiation discussions
Quality Management
* Drive the development and execution of fashion-specific quality standards and drive the adjustment of general standards for Fashion where needed
People Management
* Provide the team with clear direction priorities and targets that are aligned with business needs and Global Operations objectives

YOUR PROFILE
* College or University degree
* A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in product development and fashion sourcing working across multiple countries of origins in a managerial role
* 3 – 5 years of Management experience in multinational companies
* In-depth working knowledge of garment and textile manufacturing processes factory evaluation techniques and vendor compliance requirements
* Intimacy with the Fashion industry – knowledge of key players & suppliers in Apparel Accessories and ideally also Footwear
* Working knowledge and understanding of forecasting buy planning factory loading and capacity planning
* Experience in team management working in multiple countries
* Ability to navigate in x-functional sensitive environments
* Fluent English basic German preferred
