As theHead of Center of Excellence - Brand Operationsyou are responsible for installing a holistic and transparent end-to-end product creation process landscape across brands in line with business demands and the GOPS Vision of “Closest to Every Consumer” Provide the business with consulting services and project management services Strategize and drive the development of the future state of creation technologies tools and systems as an integral part of future envisioned best-in-class processes
JOB PROFILE
* Define strategy for the Center of Excellence CoE - Brand Operations department in collaboration with stakeholders and drive their implementation through regular “relevance & status checks” with stakeholders
* Provide the CoE - Brand Operations team with clear direction projects and targets that are aligned with business needs and GOPS objectives Bond the co-located team members
* Standardize optimize document and govern end-to-end product creation processes across brands in line with business demands and GOPS Vision
* Ensure technical alignment with other functional process groups and other CoE departments discuss and align on priorities
* Identify innovative business models and processes and validate relevance with key stakeholders in the adidas Group focusing on adidas and Reebok brands
* Drive continuous improvement of the end-to-end product development process across creation centers and LOsOCs covering the Brand Operations side of Development as well as the Sourcing-based development side including support processes such as Material Development Costing and Testing & Commercialisation
* Responsible for the optimization consolidation and streamlining of creation calendars ensure that state of the art technology is applied and supported
* Steer project planning and improvement initiatives by providing end-to-end project management service including implementation support and training
* Support the deployment of state-of-the-art systems and assume Business Champ roles for the corresponding systems
* Ensure the adidas Group is at the leading edge of creation technology development and usage Maintain technology vendor relationships
* Provide a forceful interface with Marketing Operations in order to align priorities and goals and ensure that hand over points run smoothly
* In collaboration with Performance Management establish Key Performance Indicators and ensure the organization’s performance is measured and reported accordingly
* Benchmark product creation processes and business models against other industries and build a continuous improvement strategy with stakeholders
* Lead the CoE team and create a motivational and supportive work environment in which employees are challenged coached trained and provided with career opportunities
YOUR PROFILE
* Leadership experience and proven leadership ability
* Global end-to-end exposure and thinking
* Sound understanding of the product creation processes in the Sporting Goods Industry
* Fluent in English and ideally German
* International cross-functional and intercultural exposure
* Great communication skills and personal presence
* University degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business logistics planning supply chain or operations
* 10 years of progressive working experience in more than one function of development supply chain marketing sales andor sourcing and managerial level preferably in the sporting goods industry
* Proven track record of large scale global Project Management experience
* Knowledge of MS-Excel MS-Word MS-PowerPoint
