Purpose
Lead the E&A Development Category by ensuring the creation development and monitoring of the product from design to retail through an efficient management of the assigned suppliers
Key Accountabilities
* PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Management monitoring and control of technical sheetsreferences of the Collection and SMU’s per supplier
Revision and negotiation of prices with Product Managers
* Develop products according group targets prices and standards following Product Marketing and Design inputs
* ENSURE AND CONTROL THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT
Approval of colours fabrics qualities artworks workmanship and accessories from the first proto to the finishing of the product in origin
Monitoring the agreed dates with the supplier from the order creation until the FOB position free on board
* PRODUCTION PROCESSES
Analysis of Prices Shipments Trends Suppliers qualities
Direct collaboration with the departments of Materials & Costings Design development and Operations shipments Human Rights Labelling orders KPI’s
Control of the suppliers production process monitoring and control of the product in factories
* EVALUATION AND MONITORING OF SUPPLIERS
Monitor suppliers by improving their Key Performance Indicators
Evaluate suppliers in a monthly and yearly base and take actions to improve sourcing strategy
* PERSONNEL KEY TASK
Management of the E&A Development Team
Take lead in communication and work closely in a team atmosphere
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* Exposure fashion sports manufacturing and design
* Extensive knowledge on materials and trims
* Strong understanding of the product development process
* Clear and effective communication negotiation and analytical skills
* Person with strong leadership
* Ability to motivate and coordinate people
QualificationsMinimum required education and experience
* Minimun 5 years experience in the product development process in textile accessories industry

University Degree in Textile Engineering or Education in trims and materials
*
Computer skills Microsoft Office in general advance level of Excel is necessary
* English fluent
* Spanish is a plus
