Purpose
* Create market leading concepts and systems for products via electronic and mechanical engineering expertise improving brand competitiveness through product and technology leadership
Job profile
* Deliver new product concepts and a vision for the evolution of technology and our products
* Engage with design to create future product concepts grounded in technology
* Drive technology research and follow up testing
* Test the functional characteristics of the products or components and their impact on comfort performance and protection lab - andor wear tests
* Work with the production team to setup appropriate production resources and processes
* Engage with production to find factories that can build our products
* Establish product expectations for the factory Work with operations to ensure that adidas has the appropriate resources to support production
* Work with the production team and factory to resolve issues and quality control processes
* Engage with the factory to resolve production issues related to product performance
* Prepare concept and product evaluations and presentations
Your profile
* Graduate degree in electronics engineering or a related field
* Previous experience with managing technical projects
* 6 years experience in product development preferably electro-mechanical systems
* Deep knowledge of sensors electronics and mechanics
* Good knowledge in the field of micro electronics
* Proficient with software applications MS Office MS Project CAD
* Programming knowledge C Pascal and experience related to ESD
* Practical experience with silicon failure analysis procedures
* Advanced MS Office skills Intermediate in MS Project
* Fluency in English
* Another European language is beneficial
