Purpose & Impact on Organization
Drives store profitability through
* Helping to develop VM policy in conjunction with VP Global Retail VM
* Ensuring global visual merchandising direction is cascaded to countryregional stores and implemented efficiently and effectively
Key Responsibilities
Store management
* Manages multi locationcountries and visits each store min once per quarter
* Fully experienced in all aspects of visual merchandising on store and country level
* Makes recommendations regarding shopfit promotions ticketing display & propping process & communication
* Responsible for ROC budget management Target spend 80 - 100 of allocated budgets
Guideline management
* Responsible for the translation team for guidelines & PoS
* Responsible for the production of local initiative guidelines
Training
* Comfortable in coaching & training to a senior management level
Project Management
* Manages multiple projects eg seasonal launches department relays from concept to conclusion in partnership with regional & global teams
* Plan and implement Visual Merchandising tactics that will drive traffic to stores and aid conversion while also protecting and enhancing the adidas brand
* Monitor retail Key Performance Indicators KPI’s including but not limited to conversion traffic sales per sqf and initiate actions or changes with the Marketing and Merchandising groups to adjust the visual merchandising strategy accordingly
* Contribute to the development of the overall US brand marketing plan with a focus on adidas Retail strategy and vision
* Create consensus between global priorities and regional goals when leading multi-disciplinary teams to develop Retail focused solutions that fulfil global directions strengthen brand presence and enhance commercial success
* Manage the allocation of the Marketing Working Budget MWB to individual stores
* Develop and drive the Visual Merchandising Initiatives for stores based on the adidas Brand and Product objectives to enhance overall store performance
* Develop toolkits and templates for in-store communication and visual merchandising that can be executed by local staff
* Increase organizations ability to uncover product insights through retail experience
Other
* Ascertains our competition in area monitors and provides feedback on findings
* Reads & interprets store report data and makes recommendations for change based on trading position
* Is familiar with health & safety standards

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree B A from four-year college or university graduate level Marketing qualification desirable
* 10 years of Marketing experience
* 8 years of progressive experience in the retail or sporting goods industries on managerial level
* 5 years leadership experience
* Proven track in branded retail and productbrand marketing
