Position Summary
As a corporate contact for TaylorMade retailers and end users Customer Service Specialists CSRs respond and follow through on customer orders and requests within company policyguidelines to deliver world-class service Responsible for receiving and resolving approximately 75-150 calls daily in our fast paced high energy Customer Service call center CSRs project a positive helpful attitude while being an active listener to attend to numerous tasks and responsibilities CSRs are expected to be TaylorMade product experts as they will be confronted with a wide variety of inquiries many of which will require a strong understanding of our product attributes This position is multi-task oriented and will include responsibilities in both customer service and sales functions


Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
* Process a wide variety of calls identify service problems and initiate appropriate action to resolve problems
* Utilize systems to input research expedite and track orders returns and warranties
* Educate callers daily through routine incoming service calls of our products policies and procedures
* Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls from authorized TaylorMade retailers and consumers
* Assume responsibility for decisions tasks and actions that may affect retailers and departments within our company
* Employ top-notch oral communication skills to recognize problems and achieve the best solution with external customers
* Provide timely and accurate guidance and service to callers for a variety of products policies and programs
* Actively participate in team atmosphere to achieve department and company goals
* Retrieve information from a variety of systems and references
* Contribute to team and company achievement through regular ongoing training programs as administered by supervisors trainers and Human Resources
* Support other customer service functions custom sales support in a backup capacity
* Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Education Training Professional Certification and Work Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or a minimum of 2 years Customer Service related work experience in the golf industry required Golf Academy Graduate preferred
* Working knowledge of golf products and business in a customer service environment highly desired
* Mastery of the English language with superior written and verbal communication interpersonal and persuasion skills are required

* Successful experience in “team” service setting is mandatory

Knowledge and Skills Requirements
* Golf industry knowledge required
* Must demonstrate a superior customer service focus telephone etiquette and effective verbal written and keyboard skills
* Individuals must work cooperatively and establish positive cross-functional relationships within the organization
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products is essential
* Excellent communication interpersonal and influencing skills are paramount
* Active listening skills telephone etiquette and customer service orientation mandatory
* Unparalleled organization skills with the ability to conduct several high priority projects with a keen attention to detail required
