Position Summary
In this key role this person will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies for the TMaG brands As well as under limited supervision and with self-initiative will oversee the execution of marketing projects Plan and execute the initiation development and implementation of Global branded communication materials promotions and other initiatives that accurately reflect the brand Work with the US Marketing team Global Marketing team Sales team Product Marketing team and Customer Service departments for flawless and on-time execution
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
* Develop all aspects of specific marketing project plans Scope to include initiating global briefs and corresponding work orders reviewing cost estimates securing Manager’s approvals maintaining project schedules initiate purchase orders satisfy accounts payable participate in all review and approval check points Follow product timelines ensuring marketing needs are met
* Supervise the communications photo shoot Work with marketing sports marketing product and sales groups to determine calendar shoot needs budgets Work closely with Agency to coordinate different aspects of photo shoot planning and execution review photographers establish shot listconcepts attend and monitor shoot schedule secure product schedule athletemodel talent identify shoot site locationstudio
* Manage media partner’s added value programs events and sponsorships Develop the master calendars and ensure execution while maximizing all opportunities
* Work cross-functionally in the execution of plan components – including US Marketing team Global Marketing team Sales team Product Marketing team and Customer Service departments in addition to external agency partners
* Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues or problems that affect marketing projects
* Coordinate internal and external feedback and approvals for assigned projects
* Developing brand and product launch presentations and calendars
* Manage and reconcile project budgets and tracking day-to-day expenses and invoices
* Analyze results of advertisement and marketing campaigns and programs creating and distributing recap reports to share with broader audience
* Provide direction to creative agencies vendors and internal design team on all global marketing related projects present Brief introductions to both internal and external groups
* Coordinate regional distribution plans and schedules for marketing plans and strategies
* Manage assigned Marketing staff’s day to day projects and project goals ensuring their efficiency and that brand standards are upheld Develop employee skills through monitoring and advising during project collaboration Conduct employee performance reviews
* Liaise with Sports MarketingTour Reps to secure athlete involvement and athlete preparation when needed
* Initiate project RFPs request for proposal vendor review and negotiations
* Manage and execute all other sponsorship opportunities while maximizing value and maintaining budget
* As needed support event planning and execution sales meetings grass roots events PR events tradeshows etc Help support logistics to launch events and ensure an all encompassing launch Coordinate with Advertising Agency PR Retail Marketing eMarketing and Sports Marketing
* Ability to own and manage whole categories of products with limited supervision
Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Education Training Professional Certification Work Experience Knowledge and Skills Requirements
* Deep knowledge and passion for golfsports a must
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing Advertising or Business
* 3 years business experience in MarketingAdvertising
* Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proven leader
* Excellent verbal written visualpresentation and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to effectively present plans strategies and results to Department level
* Proven track record of success leading cross-functional teams
* Strong results orientation and decision making skills take-charge attitude and champion of innovative ideas
* Efficient personal organizational skills
* Strong personal computer skills MS Office Adobe programs Photoshop
* Ability to work effectively in a corporate environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Sound knowledge of the brand communications environment and understanding of corporate branding are essential
