Ensure adequate controlling reporting & planning for TMaG Korea ensure that products are properly planned ordered tracked received and delivered to customers on time whilst controlling inventories properly support the business in achieving the goal of becoming the number 1 golf brand in Korea
Finance Responsibilities
- Manage the overall TMaG Korea consolidated financial results actuals forecasts and budgets against targets
- Manage the overall financial reporting to HQ for all monthly weekly and ad-hoc reports for the region & Group
- Management reporting and interpretation of financial data for TMaG Korea Management
- Ongoing input from a financial perspective for business decision-making eg TP margin channels and investments
- Work to minimize tax payments tax audit assessments and customs duties assessed within the applicable laws
Controlling Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and the Group Finance Manual GFM at all times
- Evaluate and manage the internal control environment of TMaG Korea ie ensure compliance with Group TMaG and Regional policies including the completion of the annual Global Control Self Assessment “GCSA” process to facilitate ongoing adherence to policies and best practices for TMaG Korea
- Identify and recommend opportunities for creating or enhancing business processes or procedures in order to improve control andor efficiency eg inventory controls returns credits notes approvals payment processing etc
- Developimprove processes relating to management information and KPIs for the businesses in Korea Focus on developing processes together with the rest of the management team to optimize CAPEX OPEX and cash flows
- Coordinate with local regional and global legal teams on all legal and contract issues affecting Korea
- Enhances develops agrees and implements accounting and financial policies relating to TMaG Korea
- Works with IT departments to develop and enhance systems to improve operational efficiency of Finance and other departments
- Develops reports and information that support company in assessing progress against objectives
OperationsLogistics Responsibilities
- Oversee and evaluate 3PL Warehouse Management capacityinventoryreturn planning & management performance evaluationKPI OPEX management process improvement & trouble shooting
- Support and resolve issues for Transportation Local & International-Import & Export on-time delivery forwarder selectioncontrol and performance evaluation OPEX management customs duties &freight charges table negotiation
Support business planning activities and identify issues with S&OP MRP demand planning procurement and inventory planning
- Manage and resolve issues for PO placement and tracking processes as well as local sourcing
- Stock Turn management lead BUs through S&OP and other meetings for achieving yearly turn target
- Prepare reports supporting key business decisions and evaluating KPIs and business performance against targets
People Management
- Make policy decisions and accept responsibility for operations performance of staff achievement of targets and adherence to budgets standards and procedures
- Control the selection and training of finance staff establish lines of control & delegate responsibilities to subordinate staff
- Provides leadership and direction for the Finance
- Sets performance plans and reviews with each direct report
- Plans include goals key job responsibilities competency development measures and follow-up activities
- Reviews include goals key job responsibilities company values competency development
- Ensures that direct reports set high quality performance plans and goals with subordinates
- Cooperates with superior & HR Manager in all pay decisions regarding subordinates
- Develops workforce planning for the Department as required including coaching and teamwork training
- Conducts financial training for non finance managers and employees including training in policies and procedures
BackgroundExperience
At least 5 year experience for head of Financein finance
Preference for candidates with good Operations knowledge & background
Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills
Certified or Chartered Accountant accreditation preferred
EducationBachelors Degrees in Accountancy
CPA MBA degree and Procurement certification prefered
