Purpose
Responsible for creating athletic color ways for Training footwear and capable of working professionally between the design development and marketing teams
Job Profile
* Create digital color ways for footwear that link to Brand and Category merchandizing plans
* Need a high attention to detail and be able to multitask
* Manage the uploading process in PDM and DMT for the Development team to create prototypes
* Being current on colors and trends as it relates to the Training footwear category as well as seasonal Brand direction
* Work closely with Marketing to create a color plan for product merchandizing
* Coordinate color concepts apparel links and horizontal color for the Training range
* Must travel to markets to test and verify color themes
* Must travel to factories to finalize colors
* Create design presentations for seasonal color themes etc
* Gain a deeper understanding of shoe construction and design to color each model properly
* Solid understanding of adidas branding & how it’s affected by color
* Create & color CADs within development calendars to ensure timely sample delivery
* Stake holder in process management & process efficiency between design development & marketing Key person to keep calendars on track and relevant
Your Profile
* Two years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Good knowledge of product design with awareness of athletic market and athletic culture
* Knowledge and use of Macintosh computer design softwaresystems Illustrator
* Fluent in English spoken and written
