Purpose
* Management of the relevant Product team including personnel & brand functions
* Management of the relevant product line including briefing prototyping financial targets in support of the goals of the Originals Group
Job profile
* Using available market research and sales feedback prepare and communicate the marketing strategy and product brief to design
* Manage the team through the entire product creation process for assigned products with an emphasis on market and consumer relevance quality product development and timely completion of all tasks in accordance with the applicable operating calendar
* Manage the relevant category and team to ensure workable prototypes that address the desired function design direction market appeal and commercial viability This includes checking of prototypes and salesman samples for quality size fit and working together with design conduct all fitting sessions
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with design and cross functional teams help the division achieve its goals
* Analyze and report line business performance of relevant category and define relevant category plans to improve the performance of the category inline with the goals set by the division
* Work to customize product creation processes and activities to service the specific needs of the Originals Group most efficiently
* Manage the relevant category personnel usually consisting of SPM’s PM’s and APM’S
Your profile
* University degree or Abitur
* College degree preferably in marketingbusiness or equivalent experience
* or comparable degree with apparel background
* 5 years experience in product management and or product marketing
* 3 years personnel management experience in the apparel industry
* Ability to work independently and within a high performing team
* Highly confidential in managing information
* High level of initiative and maturity
* Experience in retail trade advantageous
* Actively interested in lifestyle and or fashion
* IT skills advanced in Word Excel Power Point and Outlook
* Language skills English fluent and German is of advantage
