An exciting opportunity exists to join the Sports Style Business unit as a Category Manager Originals and NEO The role is responsible for the management of all product divisions for the Pacific Marketplace Key elements of the role are range building concept alignment with key strategic customers and a holistic ownership of the go to market process from a category management perspective This role reports through to the Brand Director
Key responsibilities include
* Development and implementation of strategic Category business plans seasonally
* Building of product assortments for the Pacific marketplace on a seasonal basis from the global product range and also local design and development
* Attendance at Regional product touch points
* Close alignment with the Key Account Teams through the entire go to market process
* Building and maintaining global relationships within the Sports Style division
* Achievement of key budget & growth targets
To succeed in this role you will need to have the following skillsqualitiesexperience
* A strong eye for product and product trends
* Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
* Demonstrated Category management expertise
* Knowledge of fashion consumer trends
* Good organizational and time management skills & a proven ability to adhere to deadlines and multitask
* Strong relationship management skills
* Financial acumen with respect to category management
* Initiative flexibility and a capacity to tolerate and resist stress
* Willingness to travel
* Impeccable presentation skills
* Microsoft Office skills PowerPoint Excel Word Outlook
