Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation
Assignments fall under a broad spectrum of tasks related to the entire life cycle of applications from deployment through exploitation to phase out Heshe also can be assigned responsibility within a small or middle-size project with indirect responsibilities for people and budgets The overall purpose of these assignments is to carry out tasks with a high degree of competence and professionalism so that information needs within the international context of the adidas Group can be met
Key Responsibilities
The spectrum of tasks can vary or be combined of different subject areas including but not limited to business process engineering application package evaluation analysis and deployment support application design and specification application support and IT business consulting
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Gain and maintain functional competence related to IT subject areas and the adidas and industry ways of working Subject areas can be related to commercial sales and financial contexts
* Execute assigned tasks with a business goal orientation in mind
* Develop and maintain independence and self-organisation within the daily work environment
* Maintain sound business team and vendor relationships to ensure a high standard in customer service and satisfaction
* Meet quality and time targets or service levels to ensure the predictability of results
* Ensure compliance with all relevant adidas Group computing standards policies and methodologies
Responsibilities in adirace context
* Become the subject matter expert for adirace for in a defined area
* Handle change requests for adirace for areas of responsibility provide consulting translate business requirements in functional specification documents always keeping the balance between global harmonization and local or regional needs supervise development and testing
* Proactively support and deliver assigned projects provide consulting identify required changes provide required documentation supervise development support testing and implementation
Required Skills
* knowledge of methods and techniques applied in IT delivery environment
* Ability to translate business requirements into cost efficient IT solutions
Requisite Education
* Educated to at least degree level in a Business-Computing related subject or comparable qualification
* Good knowledge of the application deployment life cycle with strong analytical and social skills and with the ability to view issues from a business perspective
* Very good in English both written and spoken
* 3 years of experience in IT operations and implementation
Additions for adirace
* At least two years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV as consultant
* Development skills in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
