Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation

GPS – Global Procurement Solution – the system the adidas Group is performing the sourcing process The team for the GPS Support takes care that the customer can take full advantage of the continuously increasing functionality provided by the SAP GPS environment in regards of supporting the business and caring for further continuous improvements

Key Responsibilities

* Working in an international team environment to identify solutions and gather requirements with business and IT
* Provide 1st class global production support for the GPS solution with focus on all functional level tasks in a joint support team
* Consults with business and IT teams to provide best solutions for incidents and problems
* Proactively seek for system improvements and drive for their implementation
* Produce system specifications and work with development departments to produce prototypes and designs which do support the business customer
* Ensure that the detailed design reflects and supports the business processes
* Responsible for production support and meeting SLA

Authorities

* Prioritize and realize new functionality also in own responsibility
* Work collaboratively with Global Business Partners and different IT departmentsprojects to provide integrated solutions for SAP GPS
* Responsible for compliance with the Global IT Standards and Procedures throughout the life cycle of a project and production support

IT relationships
Position relates to all satellite systems and their teams
* Subsidiary ERP systems Global Client adirace
* SIM – reporting system
* ILS – planning sytem
* Tradecard – factory frontend

Business relationships
Next to supported Key users the position is relating to all GPS key business stakeholders ie Business Champs and Process Leads

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

* Ability to co-ordinate drive and perform the improvement realization and support activities for the GPS System and processes
* Plan facilitate and document key user workshops to provide the right solution and elaborate requirements
* Ability to work in an international and virtual team environment and to work closely with internal IT and external vendorsconsultants
* Good verbal and written communication including presentation skills

Requisite Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications

* University degree in Business Administration a business oriented Information Technology degree
* 2 – 5 years professional experience in SAP ideally SAP AFS
* Knowledge and experience software development life cycle
* Knowledge of support methodology skills ideally ITIL
* Proficiency in English
