Purpose
This position will improve the effectiveness of business risk management internal controls and governance processes and to also provide consulting services and share best practices at sales subsidiaries and sourcing offices throughout the adidas Group This position is an exciting entry point into the adidas Group offering consistently challenging learning development and travel opportunities to start an international career within the Company Auditors are provided with an opportunity to act as value-adding business partners in addition to performing standard compliance responsibilities and have the ability to develop sound business acumen and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the completion of approximately 5 audit projects per year as part of a risk-based annual audit plan for all activities of the adidas Group including adidas brands Reebok and TaylorMade-adidas Golf Audit scopes typically cover all key operational aspects of the business including wholesale own retail marketing customer service credit & collections purchasing & sourcing warehousing & inventory management accounting HR & payroll and IT Key stakeholders include both local management ie Managing Director CFO and all first line directors as well as senior HQ executives
* Evaluate governance practices including authorizations management reviews policies & procedures segregation of duties system access rights compliance with IFRS accounting standards and planning & reporting procedures
* Work closely with management providing assurance and consulting services and advising on practical solutions for improved business processes through the sharing of best practices
* Support the Audit Manager in the organization and execution of individual audits in accordance with the audit plan with reference to the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA
* Participate in the preparation and delivery of opening & closing presentations to senior management and executives alike
* Write audit reports for distribution to the Groups Executive Board including action plans developed with senior management and provide ongoing support in the follow-up process to achieve visible improvements with the timely implementation of agreed measures

Requisite Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
* Recognized university degree with good academic standing
* Professional Audit Qualification Qualified Chartered Accountant or international equivalent eg ACA CA CPA CIA
* 3-6 years external and or internal audit experience
* High level of mobility with desire to travel to locations largely concentrated in Asia and Pacific regions business related travel intensity varies from 18-26 weeks per year
