Global Internal Audit has been entrusted by the Group Executive Board to improve the effectiveness of business risk management internal controls and governance processes and to also provide consulting services and share best practices at sales subsidiaries throughout the adidas Group We are currently looking for anAudit Manager - Americasto strengthen our high-profile team and play in the Champions League of the sporting goods industry

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Contribute to the completion of 5 major audit projects per year as part of a risk-based annual audit plan for all activities of the adidas Group including brand adidas Reebok TaylorMade-adidas Golf Ashworth Rockport and CCM Hockey Audit scopes typically cover all key operational aspects of the business including wholesale & own retail marketing customer service credit & collections purchasing & sourcing warehousing & inventory management accounting HR & payroll and IT Key stakeholders include both local management ie Managing Director CFO and all first line directors as well as senior HQ executives
* Evaluate governance practices including authorizations management reviews policies & procedures code of conduct segregation of duties system access rights compliance with IFRS accounting standards and planning & reporting procedures
* Work closely with management providing assurance and consulting services and advising on practical solutions for improved business processes through the sharing of best practices
* Support the Director of Audit Americas in the organization and execution of individual audits in accordance with the audit plan and with reference to the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA
* Participate in the preparation and delivery of opening & closing presentations to senior management and executives alike
* Write audit reports for distribution to the Group’s Executive Board including action plans developed with senior management and provide ongoing support in the follow-up process to achieve visible improvements with the timely implementation of agreed measures
EDUCATIONEXPERIENCE
* Qualified Chartered Accountant or international equivalent CA CPA etc
* 4-6 years external and or internal audit experience
* Passion for sports
* Effective English presentation and communication skills both verbally and in writing and composure to deal comfortably with senior executives
* Highly results driven and self-motivated team player with compassion integrity trust and perseverance
* Compelling development potential with ambition to build international career in the world of sports
* Diversity skills to connect with people and management styles across different cultures
* High level of mobility with desire to travel to locations largely concentrated in North- and South America business related travel intensity varies from 18-26 weeks per year
* Strong analytic capabilities and project management skills along with high degree of business savvy
