Purpose
* Collect relevant information from athletes to enable factories to create custom made product for adidas contracted athletes according to Asset ListBU and Roll-out plan
* Ensure that the latest product Footwear & Hardware is on field and provide athletes with customized products according to their individual needs
* Test inline product in close cooperation with BUFootwear QualityaitSports Marketing for Footwear and Hardware & Apparel
Job profile
* Build and maintain an authentic and honest relationship to adidas’ athletes
* Be the responsible AS Manager for French League Ligue 1 and other European Leagues excluding England Spain Germany and Italy upon request
* Develop the ability to specify the needs and requirements of the athletes for product customization performance fit & comfort accessorizing and rehabilitation for Sample Shops Factories
* Ensure that professional athletes participate in Pro Athlete Testing and validated feedback is part of the adidas inline product creation process
* Proactively drive and build up an end-to-end process for AS taking over GK Gloves from BU in close cooperation with key interfaces such as eg BU FootballITFactoriesAS LabAS Managers create profile and handover finalized process to AS Manager
* Organize a “Goalkeeper Summit” at HQ in close cooperation with AS ManagersBUait as official business handover from BU to AS
* Plan upcoming seasons and new product roll-outs with all involved entities GTM Sports Marketing BU Factory
* Refreshupdate Profiles from defined Core - Exposure AB Athletes according to the Asset List and proactively support the Athlete Profile
* Support the update of the Asset List twice a year SSFW
* Support regularly update of the Pro Athlete Test Pool
* Plan and manage the operational business including the maintenance of athletes’ data and feedback and the accomplishment of business projects
* Travel to meet athletes whenever required and according to Asset List open communication with all involved adidas entities is required
* Discuss any product-related issues the athletecoachesmedical staff may be experiencing
* Gain specific product feedback from the athlete and reflect the athlete’s feedback with the Senior Athlete Services Manager
* Support Integration into Inline Creation Process Briefing Input Planning Design Review Milestone products Testing
* Gain general product feedback on competitor activities
* Help plan and manage athletes’ visits at the HQ in close cooperation with Athlete Service Lab Sports Marketing and the BU Football
* Assist production process with Sample ShopsFactories and Far East providing information required for Planning and Forecasting
* Support the quarterly Athlete Service Report
* Assist in managing Business Project & Processes
* Develop result-oriented work style
* Establish a close relationship with the adidas symbols in close cooperation with Sports Marketing
* Positively influence the perception of adidas in the professional sports environment
* Come up with regular feedback and new approaches to constantly improve adidas Athlete Service
* Develop individual work style with a high degree of flexibility
* Act as feedback resource to the respective inline product creation process
* Work with footwearapparelhardware to develop and test all respective inline products with elite athletes in close cooperation with the Senior Athlete Services Manager who assures the alignment with inline testing Footwear Quality and the BU
* Document and evaluate gained knowledge to be able to provide validated feedback on our products during the product creation process under the guidance of the Senior Athlete Service Manager
* Develop the ability to specify required modifications for inline products to create an Athlete Service version of the inline product if needed
Your profile
* Min 5 years of relevant job experience
* Product creation knowledge eg Materials Components features technologies and product assembly
* Passion for sports and ideally a sports background especially Football
* Sport specific knowledge in athletic training
* Knowledge in anatomy and biomechanics eg Functional assessment and profiling sport-specific movements wear pattern and injuries treatment specification
* Some experience in project management
* College degree or equivalent Engineering science eg Leather and shoe engineering Sports research engineer Sports Science Medical degree eg Sports medicine specialist Pedorthist Equivalent apprenticeship eg Orthopaedic shoemaker orthopaedic shoetechnician
* Very good communication skills
* Strong problem solving skills
* Advanced skills in MS-Office Excel Word power-Point Outlook
* Excellent English language skills fluent in French and German basic language skills
