Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity exists to join the adidas Sport Performance team as an Associate Category Manager
The Associate Category Manager role will have category responsibilities and provide a great starting point for a career in category management Gaining an understanding of all category management programs and systems plus the processes involved in analysing preparing and finalising a range for market
The role also provides assistance to the category management team responsible for delivering industry leading product ranges to the Pacific market driving both sales & margin
Reporting to the Sport Performance Category Manger your key responsibilities will include
* Ranging and category responsibilities under the guidance of a manager
* Setting up and maintaining seasonal category buy plans and using category management specific online tools
* Assisting the category management team in the lead up and execution of internal and customer pre-lines and Go To Market processes eg sales tools preparation product catalogues sampling
* Analysing market share information and developing seasonal competitor information tools
* Preparing key analysis reports on categories of responsibility
To succeed in this role you will need to have the following skillsqualitiesexperience
* Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related discipline
* Experience with adidas or similar sports performance products
* A keen passion for product and range development within the sports performance categories
* The ability to work independently and perform a variety of tasks with varying complexity
* Looks for challenges and learns quickly
* Demonstrated good attention to detail and initiative
* Strong communication & presentation skills
* Microsoft Office skills Excel Word Outlook & Power Point
