Purpose
Support Global Sourcing in strategic sourcing supply chain projects of cross-functional nature Participate in identifying optimal sourcing solutions to cater for a changing supply chain environment
Key Responsibilities
* Support implementation of strategic cross-functional projects
* Support sourcing solutions projects sub modules across multiple countries and sourcing divisions as well as part of cross-functional teams towards achieving defined project goals
* Support development of processes structures and frameworks that support the implementation of smart solutions to improve the status quo together with content experts
* Translate business requirements to business specifications for sourcing tools development and conduct business specs approval process with various functions within Global Ops
* Support project management with respect to project planning milestone tracking and status updates
* Align with corresponding stakeholder to ensure project buy in and support
* Support innovation and change in the sourcing organization
* Analyse need for smart solutions in the sourcing area
* Research on fact findings and data analysis to support improvement ideas
* Identify solution options scenarios and quantify general improvement potential
* Develop training plan material and schedule for sourcing tools process implementation and conduct training sessions to stakeholders
* Ensure newly implemented tools processes are being rolled-out in a standardized way across the organisation and documented in appropriate materials
* Follow-up on realisation of targeted benefits
* Support effective change management for process structural changes
* Networking and self-development
* Relationship mgmt networking within sourcing and supply chain community
* Ensure continuous learning with respect to sourcing & supply chain trends

* Competent user of Microsoft Office suite
* Fluent in English oral and in writing
* Knowledge in raw materials management is a plus
Requisite Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications
* Degree in supply chain management business administration or similar
* Minimum 2 years working experience ideally in sourcing supply chain related function
* Project management experience is an advantage
