As aAnalyst Costing Apparel you will support the Costing Managers indriving the overall optimization of product value engineered cost and profitability
JOB PROFILE
* Support the Costing Managers in ensuring availability of costing performance results for global Business Unit at each key milestone for quantitative assessment to facilitate product valuemarginFOB discussion with cross-functional teams recommend tactical actionsadjustment in season
* Support the costing consultant process within the respective Creation Centre team by providing on demand day to day costing support within the respective Creation Centre as well as technical costing expertise
* Support in managing globally assigned cost drivers and in developing an end-to-end costing framework to enable saving opportunities and ensure cost optimization by creating a fact based and predictable costing environment
* Support in developing costing tools and in delivering training programs to Marketing Design and Development to optimize product value and align target and cost throughout the product creation process
* Support the definition and the monitoring of product costing performance and costing process performance at the key development stages
* Support the development or enhancement of systems and process to ensure costing requirements are met and to improve costing performance
YOUR PROFILE
* Four-year college or university degree in clothing technology andor manufacturing or comparable education
* Minimum 1 year of work experience in garmenttextile industry
* Knowledge of production garment construction and manufacturing
* Knowledge of cost drivers and cost drivers management within a supplier and the entire supply chain
* Good understanding of end-to-end costingsourcing process
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Fluent in English written and spoken
* IT skills MS Office and ability to quickly learn and use internal systemsoftware
* Domestic and International Travel as required
