The main purpose of this role will be to ensure all orders customer and special handling3rd Party are booked in where required and dispatched in accordance with customers specifications agreed parameters whilst adhering to the adidas UK Limited transport policy You will also ensure deliveries are scheduled in order to maximize fleet utilization and minimize cost
Key Responsibilities
* Booking in customer orders where necessary and producing accurate documentation for 3rd party Distribution contractors
* Liaison with 3rd party distribution contractors on site managed warehouse 3rd party managed warehouse locations and special handling Tagging contractors advising of delivery booking dates and times etc
* Liaison with internal departments regarding customer bookingdelivery information and query resolution
* Creation and upkeep of reports and planning schedules advising special handling contractors of stock to be processed
* Delivery monitoring to ensure orders were despatched to customer specification
* Ensuring trade month figures are monitored and the Distribution Manager is informed of any potential problems that could impede commercial performance target being achieved
The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning and time management skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with peers Candidates who have experience in excel word access and SAP and possess previous experience in an administrative environment will be highly desirable
